The Beginning of Our Journey

SEND Consultants was founded by Mille and Elizabeth in London, after many years of offering advice to friends and families struggling to support children with and without a special needs diagnosis.

Addressing the Support Gap

We realised that many parents and carers didn’t know where to seek guidance, and the long waitlists for formal diagnoses left families without the necessary tools to help their children at home. With the growing need for behavioural support and practical strategies, we officially launched SEND Consultants to bridge this gap.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide tailored, child-centered support to families in need of behavioural guidance for their children.  We offer practical, hands-on advice and model strategies that work within the home, helping parents and carers create positive, nurturing environments.  Whether children are waiting for assessment or already have a diagnoses of special needs, our approach focuses on meeting the unique challenges of each family.

Meet the Founders

Mille

Education and Experience


Mille holds a BA in Education from Denmark, specialising in Special Needs Education. She has been working with both mainstream and special needs children since 2007, spanning early years to sixth form. For the past nine years, Mille has worked at an Ofsted-rated outstanding special needs school, with a focus on behaviour management.


Professional Accreditations


Mille is not only a qualified teacher but also a trained PBS (Positive Behaviour Support) coach. She has earned a National Professional Qualification (NPQ) in Senior Leadership, which complements her expertise in providing high-quality educational support to children with complex needs.


Elizabeth

Teaching Experience


Elizabeth began her career as a mainstream secondary school teacher, specialising in English through the Teach First programme. She gained extensive experience working in some of London’s most challenging schools, tutoring students of all ages in English language and literature.


Focus on Special Needs


Elizabeth's passion for special needs education led her to join an Ofsted-rated outstanding SEN school, where she has taught for the last eight years, focusing on literacy development.  Elizabeth is a qualified teacher and a trained PBS coach, bringing her expertise and commitment to SEND Consultants.
